In November and December of 2006, I traveled by myself coast-to-coast across the southern states. I started in San Diego, CA and ended in St. Augustine, FL.
While I traveled, I created and ran an alternate reality game called Lawn Games for Life.
Lawn Games for Life uncovered the (fictional) history of the life and family of Anna Ravelo while her neice, Taylor Garcia, tried to
oblige the old lady her dieing wish - that the family work together to salvage a family heirloom and legacy. Filled
with stories of family drama, regional hauntings and lore, and puzzling brain-teasers, Lawn Games for Life was my
way of transforming my own journy into something more meaningful, something un-lonely, and something playful to share.
It was the first ARG that I ran, and I couldn't have had a better player-base or a warmer reception from the community.
I'm happy to have shared my trip with each of them.
